Universities in Norway

Norway is the 2nd happiest country in the world. It is famous for fishing, oil and gas industry, Vikings, accessible mountains and fjords. Approximately 39% of Norwegians have university degree, what exceeds OECD average of 32%. 16 private colleges and 39 public institutions of higher education offer both undergraduate and graduate studies. Public schools are for free even for international students; however, very high living expenses make up for it. Foreigners can receive financial help after applying for grants that are provided by country’s government, Nordplus, Erasmus and other organizations. The percentage of people coming from abroad is 1.5%.
