University of Bristol
The University of Bristol, or UB, is located in Bristol, South West England, UK. It has over 18,000 students who earn credits in fields including film, accounting, science, psychology, philosophy, anthropology, art history, archeology and biochemistry.
Founded in 1876, the University of Bristol was originally the department of engineering at Merchant Venturers' Technical College. That would become the engineering department of the University of Bristol. They gained their royal charter in 1909, with 400 general students and 288 undergraduates.
